Is Coffee A Healthy Drink?

On my long list of health drinks I had never considered coffee as one of them. Recent research has shown that drinking coffee in moderation is beneficial to our health but only as long as you don’t drink too much. I am lucky enough to fall into that category in that I have a couple of cups per day. The reason I never had it as a health drink was because a lot of my friends seemed to think that it wasn’t good for you.

Caffeine seems like a good reason to think that drinking too much coffee isn’t good for you. Everyone says that drinking it all day is bad but I always like to know more before throwing accusations out there. Obviously drinking too much coffee can ruin your sleep but coffee is naturally grown so it’s full of nutrients so of course it has benefits.

Not long ago I was browsing the web and came across an article discussing that affect that drinking coffee in moderation can have a direct affect on diabetes type 2. An article published by the Journal of American Medical Association stated that after a considerable amount of testing, people who consumed a moderate amount of coffee on a daily basis significantly reduced their chances of contracting diabetes type 2.

Other than helping to fight against diabetes type 2 there are a lot more benefits to drinking coffee. It can also help to reduce the chances of developing gallstones and parkinson’s disease.

What I have talked about already may not be enough but there is plenty more to thank coffee for. What you also have to know is where to get the best coffee from and I recommend a website called Coffee Cow. They sell a lot of different items but they are proud to be one of the main providers of Keurig Coffee and the brewers to go with it.

You can’t say fairer than that. Now you can stop listening to all these people who tell you coffee is bad and start helping yourself.
