Minimum Amount of Fruit and Vegetables Each Day

Medical advice tells us that to remain healthy, we should ensure that we consume at least five or more servings of fruit and vegetables on a daily basis. The aim of consuming fresh produce at every meal is that it becomes pretty easy to hit our five daily servings. For instance, one portion of vegetables with your meal and then a piece of fruit afterwards already makes six servings per day, assuming we eat three meals per day.

So as you can see, it is not really all that hard to be able to get the recommended daily minimum of fruit and vegetables. Why not start the day off with a fresh fruit and vegetable drink? Our health can be improved by simply consuming more of these foods because they are full of life giving nutrients.

Making juices is really one of the easiest things that we can do to successfully improve our health. It doesn’t really take all that much effort either and to be perfectly honest, most of the time, any fresh fruit and vegetable juices that you make will taste great. Fruits and vegetables help us to alkalize our bodies and improve our pH balance too. The more fresh produce you consume, the more energetic you’ll feel.

Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. This is something that I personally believe to be true. Don’t you find you are most productive in the morning? For me, it’s sort of similar with foods. If I start off being healthy and make myself a fresh juice in the morning, I find it much easier to eat well throughout the rest of the day.

There are lots of different juices that we can enjoy. I would suggest that you just pick some of your favorite fruits and vegetables and experiment on your own. For me, I find that my favorite drinks are often the simplest. Rather than adding too many ingredients, I like the purity of just one or two fruits or vegetables.
