In order to avoid niacin side effects, it is best to monitor your consumption closely. Around 50-80 mg is more than enough to cause a flush. However, if you exceed amounts of 700 mg this will certainly lead to some intense side effects like a red skin and tingling feeling in the chest. Finally, you could take in an aspirin 30 minutes prior to niacin flushing.
